Not too long ago, I shared one of my favorite shrimp burger recipes. Whenever I eat shrimp or fish, tartar sauce is a total MUST… always! So over the years I’ve finally concocted my favorite version of homemade tartar sauce.
I like my tartar sauce a little sweet, so I added sugar. If you don’t like yours with a hint of sweetness, simply omit the sugar.
I can’t say how long this will last in the fridge because I only make enough for a few people and there’s never any leftovers. This recipe yields approximately 2/3 cup, so double or triple according to the number of people you are serving.
The best part is that this recipe calls for everyday staple ingredients you probably already have on-hand… there’s no reason for you to ever buy store-bought again!
