Besides… we MUST celebrate National Margarita Day, RIGHT?! Not only am I celebrating this day in honor of margaritas, I’m celebrating because of great news with my dog Baby at the vet earlier today.
I haven’t said much about it because I’ve been kinda trying to tuck it away in the back of my mind while we are dealing with her eye problem. When I got the advanced blood work done before her eye surgery last month, her liver count was up and we had to put her on meds for it. There was a possibility it could have been a cancerous tumor. I’ve been through that with my last two boxers and it was totally heart-wrenching.
But HOORAY! Her test came back normal today… the meds are working. Hallelujah!
Now off to the specialist next week to get this eye taken care of…
About this margarita… It’s so incredibly easy to make. Oh, and did I mention insanely delicious?! Your simple ingredients are silver tequila, pineapple juice, triple sec, lime juice and kosher salt. Garnish with fresh pineapple and lime wedges to make it all pretty if you want.
Check out the video!
Cheers to Baby’s good news and Margarita Day!

Just made these for Memorial Day. Everyone loved them. I made them in a blender with ice. Not quite frozen but very cold. They are very tasty and not too sweet like a lot of recipes.
May try to make them as a full frozen marg. Either way the recipe is a keeper!

Hello, this recipe sounds delicious! I plan to try it out at a family barbecue tomorrow. One question: Can I use pineapple juice from a carton, or does it have to be fresh squeezed pineapple juice? Thanks!

Hi John, you can most definitely use store-bought pineapple juice from a carton or can (that’s what I do!). I hope you enjoy the margaritas!
Tried these tonight for the heck of it and they were amazing! I wasn’t sure how the salt would taste with pineapple, but it was delightful. Will definitely be making these again!

Best Pineapple Margaritas ever! We made these for our friends when we have gatherings and they are always a hit! The best combination we have found is at Total Wine. The Margarita Mix we use is the Trés Agaves Margarita Mix, El Padrino Blanco Tequilla and Vita Divine Triple Sec. delicious!
