We had a party over the weekend celebrating the new house and I don’t have to worry about buying wine for a while! 🙂 Our friend Ronnie also gifted us with a huge bowl of fresh peaches. Oh, and there is this MONSTROUS rosemary bush in the yard… what to do?! Make this sangria!
I’ve never made this sangria before but how can you go wrong with white wine, peaches and rosemary? I just started adding ingredients until I got it tasting the way I liked it. It’s sweet but also tart… if you prefer it on the sweeter side, add more simple syrup.
How to make simple syrup
Simple syrup is just that: SIMPLE. All you do to make it is boil equal parts granulated sugar and water for about 2 minutes, remove from heat and allow to cool. I used ½ cup of simple syrup in this recipe.
This recipe is crazy easy to make but looks so elegant (and tastes out of this world!). Be sure to have a few extra rosemary sprigs for that pretty garnish… enjoy!
