There’s just something about the combination of spicy ginger beer, sweet pineapple juice, tart lime juice and vodka (can’t forget the vodka!) that is unforgettable. This cocktail comes together in all of 5 minutes and will be your new favorite summer mule drink!
Where to find ginger beer in the grocery store:
When I decided I wanted to make a Moscow Mule for the first time, I had never bought (or drank) ginger beer. I assumed it was in the beer aisle and couldn’t find it.
Apparently most ginger beers are non-alcoholic (less than 0.5% alcohol) and are found in the soft drink aisle of the grocery store.
Do Moscow Mules have to be served in a copper mug?
Of course not! This cocktail is traditionally served in a copper mug because of its history, but it’s also just as delicious served in a highball glass. The benefit of serving in a copper mug is that the metal maintains the ice cold temperature of the drink.
