So festive and refreshing, this Apple Cider Punch is so EASY to prepare for your next fall gathering!  An emoji of a red apple.

This recipe is so seriously simple it’s pretty much elementary.  What makes this punch so special are all of the garnishes:  star anise, cinnamon sticks, clove studded sliced lemons and oranges and of course, sliced apples!

    Is this punch non-alcoholic?

Yes, it is.  Wow emoji - A yellow face with an open mouth with a look of surprise. (I know, right?!).   But the adults can still spike their personal glasses while the kids still get to enjoy it, too.

This recipe yields a hefty amount of punch (approximately 25 cups!), so there will be plenty to go around.  Be sure to add the ginger ale just before serving so that it doesn’t lose its carbonation and taste flat.

If you slice your apples ahead of time, be sure to drizzle them with a little lemon juice so that they don’t brown.  Cover and refrigerate the apples until the punch is ready to serve.

    Enjoy!

Hi Lindsay, I haven’t tried it with champagne so I can’t say with 100% certainty how it would turn out – but I wouldn’t hesitate to try it! Let me know how it turns out if you try it!

Just wondering why lemon juice is used instead of orange juice?

Hi Jane, lemon juice is more tart than orange juice so it offsets/balances the sweetness of the apple cider and ginger ale. This is how I personally liked it, but you’re more than welcome to substitute orange juice! 🙂

What kind of lemon juice did you use? Fresh squeezed or Real Lemon Juice from the store?

Hi Anna, I prefer fresh squeezed lemon juice but you can use the bottled kind as well in this recipe.
