Did I mention how EASY this is to make?! Just 10 minutes prep time is all that’s required. It’s the perfect appetizer dip for Superbowl Sunday (or any gathering!).
If you’re not a fan of green onions you can most definitely substitute fresh chives for them in this recipe.
What to serve with loaded baked potato dip:
- Potato chips
- Potato wedges / french fries
- Crackers
- Celery
- Carrots
- Broccoli
To make this dip lower fat, use:
- Low fat cream cheese
- Low fat cheddar cheese
- Low fat sour cream
- Turkey bacon instead of regular bacon
I always use freshly cracked black pepper in this dip, but I don’t add salt because it tastes plenty salty enough with the cheeses, ranch dressing and bacon. Add salt (if desired) to what suits your taste buds!
Enjoy!

This looks yummy and super cheesy! I bet cut up veggies would also go well with this dip!

This recipe doesn’t call for potatoes?
Amy
Hi Alan, no – it’s all the toppings you’d typically see on a baked potato in a hot dip. I hope you enjoy it if you make it! 🙂
