Hallelujah!  It’s starting to look and feel a little like Spring in my neck of the woods.  So I celebrated with this Ginger Martini.

Today was the first sunny and spring-like day in FOREVER.  So I had to make a cocktail (It’s Thursday) and get my butt outside.  Nothing special, I just perched this simple Ginger Martini up on the porch right after I made it.

    Then I drank it.

What made me think of a Ginger Martini for today?

A fawn boxer dog wearing a pink collar playing in the water.

Earlier this week marked FOUR YEARS (how time flies!) since I lost my beloved boxer, Ginger.  I’ve been thinking about her a lot and I know she’d want me to remember and celebrate her life with a good stiff drink.

She was an awesome companion/best friend and knew me like the back of her paw.  An emoji of a dog\'s gray face with dark gray ears and a brown snout.

This is a very simple martini to make… all you’re going to need is ginger liqueur, vodka and a splash of lemon juice.

    Cheers!
