Cranberry Orange Cream Cocktail

I can’t remember when or where I read this, but it has somehow “stuck” with me:  “What doesn’t kill you will make your drinks stronger”.

True dat.  I’ve been in my veterinarian’s office all morning with my boy Chance trying to get him worked in.  Poor baby is getting older in age and is having teeth problems.  Chance is having his first tooth pulled next week and I am a nervous wreck.

I gave Chance his pain medicine when he got from the vet and took him to the shore to play.  Now he is home chilllin’ and feeling no pain.  I remember having a tooth ache when I was a kid and can’t stand the thought of my boy hurting.  When you don’t have “human kids”, that’s just how it is.  Even if I did have kids, Chance would still be “part of the pack”.  My dog is my best friend and come hell or high water he’s not gonna hurt. 

So I made myself this little drink to walk my boy down to the shore.  And I wasn’t hurting either after drinking it. 

Here are your simple ingredients:  Pinnacle Whipped Vodka, orange juice, cranberry juice and lime juice.  Mix equal parts of the vodka, orange juice and cranberry juice.  Then add a splash of lime juice.  That’s it!  It’s a perfect summer beach cocktail.  Cheers to the weekend ~ and please keep Chance in your thoughts for his dental surgery next week!
