Seriously… if there’s 2 things that I love on this earth it’s cheesy pizza and shrimp. It’s the best of both worlds here, people!

And if your shrimp are already peeled and deveined, this recipe comes together in just 25 minutes. I used a pre-made crust instead of dough just to make sure my shrimp wouldn’t be overcooked and dry. The scampi sauce helps to keep the shrimp moist and the secret is sautéeing the shrimp just until pink before placing them on the pizza.
Everyone will think you made a gourmet pizza in less than 30 minutes. Enjoy!

Best homemade pizza I ever ate ! I used golden pita cause its low carb and sugar free I wish I could have shown a picture of the empty baking tray as my son came over late and I ate the whole thing and he wrote must have been good on the tray with the corn meal I used on the tray lol

I wonder if you have nutrition info. Thank you!
Amy
Hi Laurie, Thanks for the 5 star review! I don’t currently have nutritional info for this recipe. If you search online for “nutritional calculator” there are free ones you can use for any recipe by entering the ingredients. I hope this helps!

I made this tonight on a cauliflower crust and my husband and kids loved it. We paired it with a salad and that was dinner. We have an imaginary list that we add the best new recipes to… and guess what.. this pizza made the list!!!
Amy
Thanks so much, Lashawn – Cauliflower crust sounds delicious for this pizza! So glad everyone enjoyed it and happy it made “the list”! 🙂

Hi Amy,
I made this tonight and had to reduce the sauce down once I removed the shrimp from the pan because it was way to thin. I reduced it down to ¼ cup and let it cool for about 10 minutes. I brushed it on a Parmesan wheat, from scratch, pizza crust that was not pre-baked before hand. I dropped the temp down to 425 degrees because the whole wheat crust has a tendency to burn before it is done when baked @ a temperature higher than 400 degrees. Forgot the Italian seasoning at the end but It turned out YUMMO-licious anyway!
Mille Grazie.

Made on a keto pizza crust. Shrimp, smoked bacon, and lots of mozz cheese. . You cannot go wrong with smoked bacon and shrimp.

Years ago when we lived in a city with a really great pizzeria, my husband was hooked on their shrimp scampi pizza, but after moving to the country, there wasn’t a pizzeria around with this on their menu. This recipe is soooooo good! I made my own crust, but otherwise followed the recipe as is. Of course we always add additional garlic after it’s on our plate! This is definitely a keeper… my husband loved it!
You’ve gotta try it!

Great recipe! Add some tomatoes and they make it even better! If you are using fresh pizza dough pre cook it 3 to 4 minutes longer. If you like your cheese extra bubbly turn on the broiler for a bit at the en.

Thanks so much for sharing, Renee! Adding tomatoes sounds delicious! 🙂

Thanks for the recipe. Delicious topping. Dough needed longer in the oven though (in my opinion)..

I’d like to make this pizza but you don’t say what cheese to blend to get Italian cheese blend
Amy @ The Blond Cook
Hi Rich, I used this bagged version of Italian cheese blend. Hope you enjoy the pizza! 🙂

Made this using a “ready-made” bag of pizza dough, everything else was exactly as the recipe called for (except I forgot the Parmesan at the very end). It was pretty easy to pull together, and the result was excellent! The only thing I will do differently next time is to let it cook for 2-4 more minutes at 450F – while the crust was not raw, it could have been crispier without scorching or burning. My oven tends to run a bit hot, so I was surprised to find this slightly under-done rather than over! But, obviously, that’s not a recipe issue – this was a nice pizza!

Hi Ed, thanks so much… glad you enjoyed the pizza! 🙂
