Because it’s National Margarita Day (and I want a drinky-drink) I made these incredibly tasty and easy Pineapple Margaritas today!  An emoji icon of a pineapple.

Besides… we MUST celebrate National Margarita Day, RIGHT?!  Not only am I celebrating this day in honor of margaritas, I’m celebrating because of great news with my dog Baby at the vet earlier today.  An emoji of a dog\'s gray face with dark gray ears and a brown snout.

I haven’t said much about it because I’ve been kinda trying to tuck it away in the back of my mind while we are dealing with her eye problem.  When I got the advanced blood work done before her eye surgery last month, her liver count was up and we had to put her on meds for it.  There was a possibility it could have been a cancerous tumor.  I’ve been through that with my last two boxers and it was totally heart-wrenching.

Front view of three pineapple margaritas in glasses rimmed with salt.

But HOORAY!  Her test came back normal today… the meds are working.  Hallelujah!  An emoji of a girl with brown hair with her hands raised above her head.

Now off to the specialist next week to get this eye taken care of…

About this margarita… It’s so incredibly easy to make.  Oh, and did I mention insanely delicious?!  Your simple ingredients are silver tequila, pineapple juice, triple sec, lime juice and kosher salt.  Garnish with fresh pineapple and lime wedges to make it all pretty if you want.

Check out the video!  An emoji of a white hand with the index finger pointing up.

Cheers to Baby’s good news and Margarita Day!

This was delicious!! Only reason I didn’t do five stars is because you DEFINITELY should add more tequila:) I also did a salt/sugar/chili powder rim whic was perfect for this! But be careful: these go down REAL smooth

Nice. Fresh juiced pineapple margaritas. Great froth is the best garnish for this.

I tied this and was a little skeptical based on how simply it was but it is legit. Excellent drink and so easy to make! I added a little jalapeño in the shaker to give it some kick too.

Looks wonderful. What’s a “part?” An ounce, a jigger?

P.S. my dog is having great results on medication for liver disease, good luck. Our eye surgeon is wonderful….

Hey, Paige! A “part” is basically a ratio measurement… depends on how big your glass is! 🙂 So glad to hear your fur baby is doing better, too!
