Today has been one of those warm, fuzzy days… so I celebrated with this Pecan Pie Vodka Martini!

A martini with a crushed pecan rim. A blue bottle of vodka is in the background.

Don’t lie… You know what I’m talkin’ about.  One of those days when you just want to hug the world.  Where everything goes right and feels right.  When all your hard work seems to pay off.

    WORD.

A martini on a small piece of burlap with seven whole pecans scattered on the wooden surface.

Those days don’t happen very often so I’ve learned to savor the moment and appreciate them!

    So I’m celebrating!

A martini on a wooden surface with a bottle of vodka in the background.

I have been so blessed and am thankful for my life, this little blog of mine, and you.  Thanks for continuing to support my dream by being a reader and listening to what I have to say!

Crushed pecans in a resealable plastic bag with a rolling pin sitting on top of the bag.

This Pecan Pie Pinnacle Vodka is off the hook… I’m a HUGE fan of their different flavors.

But… you know what?  Everything doesn’t have to be complicated to be good.  Just like this cocktail.

A martini glass turned upside-down into crushed pecans and brown sugar on a white plate.

All I did to rim the glass was crush some pecans and add the same amount of dark brown sugar.  Then I mixed some half-and-half with the flavored vodka… and made some magic.

    Cheers!
