    Coconut Orange Daiquiri

Some of the best things in life happen by accident, like this refreshing Coconut Orange Daiquiri.

A daiquiri topped with a cherry in a mason jar rimmed with coconut. Text at top of image.

    And they’re ohhhhh so simple.

I love those times.  When you just want something good, are forced to improvise, and throw it together like a champ.  Like you planned it all out.

Yeah… I made that awesome drink.

A yellow colored daiquiri in a mason jar garnished with a maraschino cherry.

After coming home from my mom’s tonight, I decided I wanted to blend something up and came up with this daiquiri with what I had on-hand.

All you’re gonna need is ice, orange juice, cream of coconut and light rum.  If you want to get all fancy, rim that glass with shredded coconut and top with a maraschino cherry.

    Cheers!

Was supposed to be on vacation in Aruba but trip was cancelled. Was looking for drinks to make for our staycation. This drink was fabulous. Used up the rest of my rum and the next time used coconut rum. Was delicious.

I was craving a frozen drink (stupid shutdown) and came across this recipe. i used Malibu Black rum since that was all I had, and some coconut cream rum since I like booze. 🙂 Great recipe! Thank you!

I could find piña colada mix. Is that similar in taste to cream of coconut. I have tried most of your drink recipes and like them all.

Hey, Mike! I think it would be good with cream of coconut, although I’ve never tried it that way. Thank you, I’m glad you have enjoyed the cocktails! 🙂

I find it in the drink mixer section of the grocery store. It is normally on the aisle with sodas at the end. Hope you enjoy it!

It’s near wine in the grocery. There are mixes for flavoring drinks, stirrers and lots of cream of coconut in the area.
