I always wondered as a kid why in the world every “grown up” drank coffee.
Now I know. Because you can spike that stuff up into something awesome for adults to enjoy, that’s why.
My spirit of choice for coffee is Kahlúa. Now that they’re offering a pumpkin spice flavor, my mind went haywire thinking of the coffee I was going to make with it.
This spiked coffee recipe is pretty simple: All you’re going to need is coffee (of course), Pumpkin Spice Kahlua Liqueur, vodka, milk, whipped cream and ground cinnamon. Add a cinnamon stick to that cup if you want to get all fancy.
I can’t wait to bring my bag of “spirits” to my mama’s house during the holidays (like I always do!) and whip us up a cup of this coffee. Come to think of it, we BOTH love Kahlúa so much, we’d rather have this treat over pumpkin pie for dessert after Thanksgiving dinner.

Kahlua Pumpkin Spice Coffee
- Total Time: 5 minutes

- 4 parts hot black coffee
- 1 part Kahlua Pumpkin Spice Liqueur
- ½ part vodka
- 1 part milk
- Whipped cream
- Ground cinnamon
- In a coffee cup, pour coffee, Kahlua, vodka and milk. Stir well with a spoon.
- Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
