Do you ever have those days when you get home from work… and you can feel your freakin’ heart beating in your feet?
If not, I want your job. LIKE NOW.
I don’t know what’s going on… but I’m seriously having flashbacks from a child listening to adults talking about their hard days at work (which I’ve never understood until here recently pushing 40).
OH CRAP. I’m there. I’m seriously there.
But you know what I have that keeps me going once I get home?
YOU. Yes, I mean YOU. My awesome Facebook and Twitter friends keep me going. I get home, see all the awesome comments and emails… and get my second wind. Then it’s on.
I want to thank all of you for the love here lately… it really means a lot. Seriously. Life is hard in general for everyone, no one is exempt. I’ve come to the conclusion I’m not gonna be one of those prissy, “everything’s freakin’ perfect and a bed of roses” blogger. It’s just not life. Not that my life is bad, my feet just hurt… lol! Crap happens and we all have tough days. BUT… you never know when one positive, kind word will make your day.
Knob Creek Bourbon made my day recently when they sent me some of their awesome spirits.
There is nothing more relaxing to me than coming home after work, listening to my favorite Pandora station, and photographing awesome food and cocktails.
I chose to make a simple cocktail with this bourbon because… y’all know I’m simple, but want an awesome drink. I will be having friends over to enjoy this simple lemonade cocktail soon. You should make it, too!
Cheers… and never give up on your dreams, no matter what they might be! 🙂
