Refreshing lemonade gets a serious kick in this delicious Bourbon Lemonade Cocktail.
Do you ever have those days when you get home from work… and you can feel your freakin’ heart beating in your feet?
If not, I want your job. LIKE NOW.
I don’t know what’s going on… but I’m seriously having flashbacks from a child listening to adults talking about their hard days at work (which I’ve never understood until here recently pushing 40).
OH NO. I’m there. I’m seriously there.
But you know what I have that keeps me going once I get home?
YOU. Yes, I mean YOU. I get home, see all the awesome comments and emails… and get my second wind. Then it’s on.
Knob Creek Bourbon made my day recently when they sent me some of their awesome spirits.
There is nothing more relaxing to me than coming home after work, listening to my favorite radio station and photographing awesome food and cocktails.
I chose to make a simple cocktail with this bourbon because… y’all know I’m simple, but want an awesome drink. I will be having friends over to enjoy this simple lemonade cocktail soon. You should make it, too!
Cheers… and please drink responsibly!

I realize this is a year old, but being in the mood I decided i needed a drink. Looking at your recipe inspired me, though I messed it up a bit. 🙂 I went with 1 part bourbon, 2 parts lemonade and put it together in an old glass jar. Something about them glass jars, eh? Hold the triple sec and cherries…this is all about the bourbon and lemons. 😉 L’Chaim!
