Ingredients
2tablespoonschili powder
2teaspoonsdried oregano
1teaspoonground cumin
1teaspoonsalt
1teaspoonblack pepper
½teaspoongarlic powder
½teaspooncrushed red pepper flakes
¼teaspoononion powder
Instructions
Stir or whisk together all ingredients in a small bowl.
If not using immediately, transfer to an airtight container and store in a cool, dry place (in a pantry or cupboard away from direct sunlight) for up to 6 months.
Notes
This recipe makes enough seasoning for a pot of chili using 1 to 1 ½ pounds of ground beef.
