Everything Bagel Pigs in a Blanket

The classic party appetizer gets a flavorful twist in these quick and easy Everything Bagel Pigs in a Blanket!

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) tube refrigerated crescent rolls I use Pillsbury original crescents
  • 16 cocktail party sausages little smokies
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 ¼ teaspoons everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Separate the dough into triangles on a cutting board. Slice each triangle vertically in the center using a pizza cutter or sharp knife.
  • Place each cocktail sausage on the wide end of each triangle and roll up the dough around the sausage.
  • Arrange the crescents on the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Place each crescent with the pointed seam side DOWN.
  • Make the egg wash by whisking together the egg and water in a small bowl.
  • Using a pastry brush, brush the tops of each crescent lightly with the egg wash (you will have some egg wash left over).
  • Sprinkle the crescents evenly with the seasoning.
  • Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

  • Once cooled, store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat on a baking sheet in a 300 degree preheated oven for 10 minutes or until heated through.
