Crescent Roll Pigs in a Blanket
These pigs in a blanket prepared with crescent rolls are a quick and easy appetizer perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients

(8 ounce)
tube refrigerated crescent rolls
16
cocktail party sausages
little smokies
1
egg
1
tablespoon
water
¼
teaspoon
poppy seeds
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Separate the dough into 8 triangles. Slice each triangle vertically in the center into 2 triangles.
Place each sausage on the wide end of each triangle and roll up the dough around the sausage.
Place on the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart (point side DOWN).
Prepare the egg wash by whisking together the egg and water in a small bowl.
Brush the tops of each crescent lightly with the egg wash (you'll have some left over).
Sprinkle each crescent with the poppy seeds.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
Storage
: Once cooled, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Reheating
: Reheat in the oven on a baking sheet at 300 degrees F for 10 minutes or until heated through.
