Creamy Cucumber and Tomato Pasta Salad

Ingredients

For the dressing:  

  • 2/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons white vinegar
  • 21/2 tablespoons fresh chopped dill weed
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For the salad: 

  • 8 ounces pasta (I used ziti) cooked according to package directions, thoroughly rinsed with cold water and drained
  • 1 English cucumber, sliced into half-moons
  • 1 pint cherry or grape tomatoes, halved

Instructions

  1. Place dressing ingredients in a small bowl and whisk to combine.
  2. Place salad ingredients into a large bowl and toss to combine.  Drizzle with dressing and stir to coat evenly.  Cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes before serving.
