- 8–10 fresh mint leaves
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 2 ounces bourbon
- Extra mint sprig, for garnish
- In a glass, muddle mint leaves with sugar (if you don’t have a muddler, use the back of a wooden spoon).
- Fill the glass with crushed ice. Top with bourbon and stir to combine. Garnish with fresh mint sprig.
