Eggnog White Russian

This festively delicious Eggnog White Russian is a rich, sweet, and creamy cocktail that will be a hit at your holiday gathering!

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1 ounce coffee liqueur such as Kahlúa
  • Splash peppermint schnapps
  • 3 ounces prepared eggnog
  • 1 Pinch of ground nutmeg
  • Star anise and cinnamon sticks optional garnish

Instructions

  • Fill an old-fashioned glass with ice.
  • Fill a cocktail shaker half full with ice.  Pour in vodka, coffee liqueur, peppermint schnapps, and eggnog.  Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds.
  • Strain into glass and sprinkle with nutmeg.
  • Garnish with cinnamon stick and star anise, if desired.

Notes

  • Peppermint schnapps may be omitted from this recipe if desired.  It just adds a little extra festive flavor!
  • To serve this cocktail with a layered appearance, shake the vodka, coffee liqueur, and peppermint schnapps in a shaker with ice. Strain into a glass with ice and pour the eggnog on top.
