Crockpot Salsa Chicken

Just two simple ingredients are needed in your crock pot for the easiest and BEST Mexican shredded salsa chicken!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar of your favorite salsa

Instructions

  • Place chicken breasts in your slow cooker insert and cover with salsa.
  • Cover and cook on high for 4 hours, or on low for 6 to 8 hours (until chicken is fully cooked and shreds easily with a fork).
  • Shred chicken using 2 forks, then gently stir to combine and coat chicken.

Notes

This recipe yields approximately 4 ½ cups shredded chicken.
