Vegetable Beef & Biscuit Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1/2 small onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground sirloin
  • 1 can condensed corn soup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 can (15 oz) mixed vegetables, drained
  • 1 small can mushrooms, drained
  • 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 10 oz can canned biscuits
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400
  2. Cook meat & onions in skillet until meat is browned
  3. Drain grease
  4. Return meat & onions to pan
  5. Stir in soups, water, mixed vegetables, mushrooms & worcestershire sauce
  6. Spoon into casserole baking dish
  7. Bake 10-15 minutes, or until hot & bubbling
  8. While casserole is baking, cut each canned biscuit into quarters
  9. Once mixture is hot & bubbling, remove from oven & stir well
  10. Arrange biscuits around edges of dish, “point” side up
  11. Sprinkle cheddar cheese in center
  12. Return to oven; bake an additional 10 minutes, or until biscuits are browned
