I was so sad to hear this news, Amy 🙁 I know how hard it is to say goodbye to our beloved pets. I’m absolutely in love with Chance’s face…and those eyes. There is so much heart and soul in those eyes. My heart goes out to you and I wish I could come drink a pitcher of this gorgeous, fruity Sangria with you to commiserate.
Thank you so much, Valerie for your kind words. If you ever visit my way, let me know & I’ll make us a pitcher of this sangria 🙂
Every day, we treat our pets as our babies. They are family, and whether you know ahead of time, or something happens suddenly the grief is hardly bearable. My baby, Diamond was 13. She was taking Proin twice a day (and hiding it so she would eat it was a task.) She disappeared. I remember praying so hard to God to not take her this way. 24 hours and I was frantic, and found her over a mile away in a small rural grocery parking lot. Well, I got only a few more weeks with my baby. And so, I know this pain you feel. Your best friend. Your pal. Your child. Celebrate the JOYS he has brought to your world over the years! And, drink some of this delicious Sangria, and enjoy the warm sunshine as long as you possibly can! Looks like Winter is gonna visit us in upstate NY next week! 🙁
Thank you so much, Michelle! Sounds like your Diamond was a sweet girl. I’m glad you were able to at least get a few more weeks with her. They are family! 🙂 Thanks again for your nice words. XOXO
CHEERS to the most handsome boxer on this earth…. Chance! What a wonderful life he’s been given on this earth with the best doggy mom any dog could possibly have. We’ll see them again in heaven. What a joyous reunion all of us will have with our best friends!!!
Thanks, Mama… hugs! 🙂
