This delicious Strawberry Basil Pepper Martini is sweet and fruity with a little heat!

I had some Absolut Peppar Vodka left over from my Bloody Mary a few weeks ago.

Closeup view of leaves on a basil plant.

My mom gave me this beautiful basil plant this week…

Fresh strawberries in a small glass bowl on a wood surface.

And I have a love for fresh strawberries… so you know what I did!  🙂  The hint of pepper flavor in this Strawberry Basil Pepper Martini made it a little out of the ordinary (in a good way!) aside from a traditional strawberry basil martini.

A bottle of vodka, cocktail shaker, strawberries, lemon, basil and a muddler.

Here are your ingredients:  Absolut Peppar Vodka, fresh basil, fresh strawberries and lemon juice.  You’ll also need a shaker and a muddler.

Muddle two large strawberries and four basil leaves in a shaker.  Add ice, four ounces of vodka and a splash of lemon juice.  Shake vigorously and strain into a martini glass.

    Enjoy!
