Two of my favorite things have now become one: vodka and ice cream in this Spiked Strawberry Cheesecake Shake.
The nice people from Pinnacle Vodka emailed me a week or so ago with some awesome cocktail recipes for National Ice Cream Month. I wanted to make my own version of an ice cream cocktail and came up with a Spiked Strawberry Cheesecake Shake.
So here I am celebrating National Ice Cream Month. REALLY. CELEBRATING.
Because y’all know me… if it can be spiked, I’m on it. Honestly, I NEVER thought about spiking ice cream or a milkshake until that nice little email.
But fair warning has been given: ICE CREAM + VODKA = DANGEROUS. Don’t let your kids get near this pretty, virgin-looking milkshake.
Here’s what I used: Ben & Jerry’s Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream, Strawberry Shortcake Vodka and milk. I also used graham cracker crumbs to rim the glass, added some whipped cream and a fresh strawberry for garnish. That stuff’s optional.
So, raise your glasses to National Ice Cream Month. Cheers!
