If there were ever a cocktail made for sitting in a rocking chair and porch sipping, this is it. It’s incredibly easy to throw together and guaranteed to be a crowd-pleaser!
I started making this cocktail over the weekend to sit out on the porch and enjoy the sunshine and thought to myself, “I should really re-photograph this!” (I originally published this recipe in 2012).
Can I make this peach tea non-alcoholic?
Yes, you can! Simply omit the whiskey.
Make it extra-special and garnish with fresh peach slices and mint sprigs!
Enjoy!

Can this be made a couple day early of when you want to use it??
Amy @ The Blond Cook
Hi Anne, I’ve made the peach tea (minus the whiskey) and served it the next day over ice and it was fine, but I can’t say as far as 2 days because I’ve never served it 2+ days after preparing. Hope you enjoy it! 🙂

Love the recipe! The only thing I’m wondering is what size tea bag are you useing. They have those little ones and the bigger ones I believe. I always buy Louisiana family size tea bags for boiling So six seems like a lot. Just wondering so I can get the recipe right.
Amy @ The Blond Cook
Hi Kristine, it is regular size tea bags. Hope you enjoy it!

OH. MY. Two of my favorites in one drink! I drink peach tea all the time and JD is my absolute favorite whisky, since legally I can’t call it bourbon.
Thank you so much for the recipe, Amy! I can’t wait to try it tonight. lol It’s hump day which is always a good time to celebrate. Oh, and tomorrow is Friday Eve which is another good time to celebrate…

I wonder what it would taste like to put Peach Scnapps in Sweet Tea rather than whiskey. Not much of a whiskey drinker normally.

Do you add 1 shot of whiskey for the whole quart of tea or do you add a shot with each glass after you fill each one with tea?
Amy @ The Blond Cook
Hi Annie! One shot for each glass, then fill with tea. Cheers & have a great weekend!
