My friend started talking one night about this crazy idea he had for photographing one of my cocktails ON THE POND in his back yard. I was like, “what in the world are you talking about?”
I really had no freakin’ clue as to the mechanics of this photo prop.
I recently received this bottle of Pinnacle’s Peachberry Cobbler Vodka and brought it to his house for a little taste-testing.
And there was the pond waiting in the back yard…
A piece of glass shelving was set up on top of three dowels that sat in the bottom of the pond. The glass had to sit just evenly with the water line to make it work.
I was still a little skeptical… until I saw the photos.

All you’re gonna need for this cocktail is Pinnacle’s Peachberry Cobbler Vodka, half & half, and a mixture of cinnamon and sugar for rimming the martini glass. And if you choose to take some crazy photos… please be sure to share them with me!

For rimming the glass:
- 1/2 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon ground cinnamon
For the martini:
- 1 part Pinnacle Peachberry Cobbler Vodka
- 3 parts half & half
- Rim the martini glass in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- In a shaker with ice, vigorously shake vodka and half & half. Strain into martini glass.
