I keep getting all of these awesome spirits delivered, and I am beside myself. Thank you, Beam Global. You rock. Y’all must know I really like mixin’ cocktails.
Actually, the Fed Ex guy probably thought my mama was a full-on lush… ’till she had to explain things to him. C’mon now… WHAT?
You see, I really do work a full-time job during the day, so I must have some things that require a signature delivered to my mama’s house. After a while, my mama got a little paranoid and felt that she had to have a serious “talk-to-talk” with the delivery guy. He kept delivering slim boxes that read, “Alcohol… Adult signature required… Do not deliver to an intoxicated person.”
So she told him her daughter had a blog that featured cocktails weekly and I’m sure he looked at her like, “yeah, right“. LOL! Sorry, Mama!
Truth is… if I don’t like a certain product, I won’t use it on my blog. Because I want to be upfront and honest. There have been recipes and cocktails that I’ve come up with that portrayed a beautiful photograph, but sucked.
This 2 Gingers Irish Whiskey was the bomb. When I went to my mom’s after work to pick it up, I scavenged her house to see what I could find to go with it to make an awesome cocktail. I found some lemon schnapps and cream liqueur of my dad’s… and went on it when I got home.
Then I sat in my Adirondack chair in my little back yard and sipped this awesome cocktail out of my Mason jar. ‘Cause that’s how we do it here in the south. Do yourself a favor and give this cocktail a try… You won’t be disappointed.
