Pucker up and get ready. This Lemon Candy Cocktail is dangerously delicious!
Isn’t it so dainty looking in the cute little container? NOT. This is not your grandma’s lemonade. Trust me on this one. I need to be completely blunt, upfront and honest. You cannot taste one smidgen of alcohol in this cocktail (it’s that delicious!). Please exercise caution and drink responsibly.
Now that we have the warning out of the way, I’m gonna tell you what’s in this deceitful tasty little drink. One can of thawed lemonade concentrate, one bottle of Leinenkugel Summer Shandy Beer, one can of club soda and one can of Pinnacle Cotton Candy Vodka. Use the lemonade concentrate can to measure the club soda and vodka.
Stir it all up and serve over ice.
A lot of people have been telling me that they’ve served my beer cocktails at {college} graduation parties, weddings and all kinds of events (I’m so honored!). I wanted to do another easy, “throw it together in a pitcher” kind of cocktail for you all.
Cheers, enjoy and please drink responsibly!

Is this drink best when made ahead of time or best right away?
Hi Elizabeth, I would say best right away.
Well, I am late in experiencing this drink. My husband and I went to a fancy establishment for dinner, October 2013. For a cocktail, I had something called a Lemon Candy. I was told by the bartender to be careful. I drank and said, “That’s weak”, but after a second one, I said, “Daaannnggg”. Nevertheless, we came home, googled, found this recipe, shopped for the ingredients and have been making them ever since. I have introduced this drink to so many people, who fall in love. This drink is sneaky, very sneaky, but delicious. Thanks
Thank you so much, Lani! You made my day. Glad you enjoyed the drink & it’s cool to hear that it’s being served in a restaurant! I haven’t had it in a while and need to make it again soon!
Great recipe. It is yummy.
I saw this recipe earlier in the week and I just knew I had to make it this weekend. Sipping on some now and I must say it is delish. I should have made a double batch but I only had exactly 12oz of my cotton candy Pinnacle left. Finally another recipe for the flavored vodkas!! Great idea!
Thank you January! I’m glad you liked it. I want to try ALL of the flavored vodkas, trying to decide on which one to get next! 🙂
I love your blog and your recipes! I am definitely making one of your drinks this weekend! I’ve pinned them to my drinks board on pinterest! Take a look- you might get some more ideas 🙂

I will most definitely be sharing this at my annual bacon n beer party this summer! Can’t wait <3
Thanks Leslie; I hope you all enjoy it at your party–that sounds like fun! 🙂
Mmm! Looks delicious 🙂 what is Summer Shady Beer? Would any pale/white/wheat beer do?
Thank you so much Ashley! Summer Shady beer is a “lemonade beer”…I would think that any pale/white/wheat beer would be really good, but I must say it was “spectacular” with the Leinenkugel brand Summer Shady. If you can find a lemonade/lemon flavored beer I would use that! 🙂
The pictures look so good! I LOVE reading your recipes. Keep up the good work.
p.s. Thanks for posting some dog treat recipes!
Thank you so much Amy–you made my day! I am planning on doing more doggy treat recipes soon…I also have an awesome doggy treat cookbook I’m going to be doing a giveaway on soon, too! 🙂
