Here on the coast of North Carolina, we get all excited and freak out when we get a forecast of snow. This Snowmaretto Cocktail was a result of that excitement!
We do crazy stuff that a lot of people (not familiar with our area) laugh at… like go to the grocery store and stock up on bread, milk and canned goods as soon as we hear there MIGHT be one flake of snow. Oh, and we stock up on other important things like beer and liquor.
True.
Because if you’re gonna be on “lockdown”, you’ve gotta have the necessary supplies, right?
Well, we didn’t get much snow… just enough ice and snow to be stuck in the house. And just enough to make what I call a Snowmaretto.
It’s simply delicious and a real treat for us who aren’t used to seeing much snow. All you’re gonna need is snow, your favorite amaretto and heavy cream. You can also substitute crushed ice in your blender if you don’t want to wait for the snow. Cheers!

Yesss!! I’m so making this! Just started snowing in Clemson SC so that means the “city” is shut down for AT LEAST the next two days!

It’s the same way here on the coast of NC when it snows… everything shuts down! Hope you enjoyed the snowmarettos! 🙂
