A holiday favorite 
Ingredients
- Lime wedge
- Candy canes
- 5 parts vanilla vodka
- 1 part peppermint schnapps
- Splash of grenadine (for color)
Instructions
- Using a mortar and pestle, crush candy canes to use for rimming martini glass
- Chill martini glass by placing ice & water in glass; set aside
- Pour out ice water in martini glass
- Using lime wedge, wet rim of glass
- Dip rim of glass into crushed candy canes & coat rim well
- Pour vodka, peppermint schnapps & grenadine into shaker with ice & shake vigorously (so that you'll get the "ice slivers"!)
- Strain into martini glass
- Garnish with a mini-candy cane and/or fresh mint
Still some peppermint growing outside, don’t let me forget to get it for these drinks!!!
